What is it about rejection that makes us take it
personally? A dad (or mom) leaves and a
divorce happens, and the kid wonders what he or she did to make them
leave. The job interview doesn’t lead to
employment, and we’re left wondering where we’re lacking.
For today, I’m going to ponder the fact that God doesn’t
reject me; He went to great lengths to come and find me, and paid an
unthinkable cost to bring me into His family.
Neil writes that we’re going to learn to handle rejection
